Rev. Dr. Vivek Gundimi

Rev. Dr. Vivek Gundimi serves as the Pastor-in-Charge of Christ Methodist Church, Bengaluru. He brings to the congregation a rich combination of pastoral experience, theological scholarship, missionary service and compassionate leadership. At the heart of his ministry is a desire to shepherd God’s people faithfully, teach the Scriptures clearly and help the Church grow as a community of grace, healing and Christian witness. Rev. Dr. Vivek joined the Bangalore Regional Conference of the Methodist Church in India in 2017. He served as the Associate Pastor of Richmond Town Methodist Church until April 2026 before taking up his present pastoral responsibility at Christ Methodist Church. Alongside his pastoral ministry, Rev. Dr. Vivek is the author of several books and a regular contributor to Christian publications. His articles have appeared in national Christian magazines such as AIM, as well as in The Hindu. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mahaveer Jain College and a Diploma in International Trade from Northern Melbourne University. He completed his Master of Divinity at SABC while simultaneously pursuing a Master of Arts in Western Philosophy from Bangalore University. He later completed his doctoral studies at SAIACS, specialising in Pastoral Theology and Counselling. Rev. Dr. Vivek is married to Mrs. Esther Gundimi, a senior lecturer in Physics at Auxilium PU College. They are blessed with two children, John, who is studying in Grade 7, and Joanna, who is in Grade 3.
